The Plan of Salvation
"16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but so that the world might be saved through Him." John 3:16-17
What Must I do to be Saved?
Jesus and the Apostles-guided by the Holy Spirit-taught that to be saved one must:
- Hear the word: Romans 10:13-17, John 6:44-45
- Believe the word: John 6:47, John 8:24, Hebrews 11:6
- Repent of sins: Luke 13:3-5, Acts 2:38, Acts 16:30-31
- Confess the name of Jesus: Romans 10: 9-10, Acts 8:37, Matthew 10:32-33
- Babtized into Christ: Mark 16:16, 1 Peter 3:21, Acts 2:38
- Live faithfully according to God's word: Titus 2:11-14, Romans 12:1-2, 2 Peter 1:5-11
